The Hummingbird is one of the first cocktails I fell in love with. Before I knew much about cocktails, I went to the Hawthorne in Boston, said I wanted something floral and festive, and this is what I got (served in the branded mini carafe with a spoon straw).
It’s easy, refreshing, and you should probably make one now.
for 1 drink
1 oz. St. Germain
2 oz. gin
1 tsp. fresh lemon juice
Combine St. Germain, gin and lemon juice in shaker with ice. Shake and strain into glass over ice. Top with soda and a lemon twist.
